Since you've been gone,
I have been able to concentrate on getting better.
When you were around,
you always reminded me of how I felt.

Just by looking at you,
I would think about what you thought of me.
Was I strange,
I'm sure you thought so.

But when you left out that door,
I was ready to start over again.
