Hate/Love

I hate it when I see you
because I know
I can't be with you

I hate it when you look my way
but I love it that you do

Why does it have to be this way
Why do I need to suffer so

I love the way you look at me
I love the way you smile at me
I love the way we laugh together
as if we're the only ones in the room
I just love the way I feel
when I'm so close to you
that it makes me cry

Everytime I see your face
I smile
but my smile fades
with each passing second
because you'll never know
how much I love you

I feel like I can never be happy
knowing I can't be with you
and knowing you don't love me
kills me deep inside.

    Thanks for the wonderful comments, this poem has more meaning to it then it may seem. It goes beyond anything you could ever think.
