ANGER

by applecheeks   Dec 3, 2003

The anger boils in the depths of my inner most being welling up like an explosive volcano ready to spew out its venom until finally it finds it way out sinking its teeth into the very one your angry with releasing the poison within my tongue lashes out with fire as the volcano erupts from within scorching the heart of the one who stands in the path of my destruction it last but only a moment but the damage is massive as the volcano inside begins to cool you realize the chaos you’ve created and begin to feel weak and sorrowful as you look into the eyes of the victim you see such a burden of sadness and you wish to undo the destruction but as you see the ash settle around you know its to late the fire has pierced the very heart and left a scar once again you apologize knowing it doesn’t quench the fire you unleashed it doesn’t heal the poison of words that are forever etched in the mind of the one who took the fiery darts of your lips as they turn to walk away tears well up in their eyes and they are finally gone from your sight you fall to your knees and cry out to God asking him to extinguish the inferno within to make dormant the misery and heart piercing anger that rumbles and spews from inside you
