Family Traits

by Ashlee Nicole   Oct 10, 2005

Ok I think this may be one of my worst poems, but this is how I feel about my family, and my siblings. We went through so much abuse, there is no way we're gonna end up normal...LoL

Look at the pictures on the wall,
Study those you see.
See the emotionless smiles,
Deep to the heart is where the secrets flea.
The Oh So Pleasantries,
Of being in this home.
Dig deep beneath the surface,
For the secrets unknown.
Ohh help the souls that marry-in.
Your spouse most likely troubled.
At first you may see smiles,
They're trust inside bubbled.
For their smiles are not true at all.
With many rough years to follow,
You'll have to try very hard,
For they're hearts inside are hollow.
There's one big fear they'll seem to have.
The fear of creating a home,
A home much like their past.
Where pain and suffering is not unknown.
