My Little Secret

I have something to tell you
something you shall never tell
no one.
You see behind this smile,
this hyper, crazy girl.
Well inside of all this
is a girl
who rocks herself
back and forth
crying at the corner of her bed
until she falls asleep
hoping that she never
wakes up again.

You see under these sleeves
are scars,
that will soon heal.
Those scars are the only things
that shows
all of this is real.
From all those scars
come out that pain in side
of this girl.

One day this girl
will be brave enough
to make a bigger scar
leading her into darkness
and making her
and everybody else
happy.
Someday this will all happen
and this little secret
won't be such a secret
after all.
