Maybe you'll see

When you see me
I'm full of laughter and smiles
But if only I could show you
Everything I go through
You'd realize that
What you see isn't real
I'd rather be quiet than loud
I'd rather be someone else than me
The constant expectation to be perfect
To be something I'm so obviously not
I get pushed so hard by him
And still don't get the grades he wants
I guess no-one really understands how i feel
Covering everything up
Trying my hardest to get noticed
Now maybe you'll understand
Why i really seek the attention
