Depression has no face...

by Forsaken Redeemer   Oct 11, 2005

It doesn't care about your life,
It doesn't care how you feel,
It doesn't care if you live in fantasy,
It doesn't care if what you live is real.

It has no use of communication,
It doesn't listen to your pleas,
It isn't willing to compromise,
It will never set you free.

It sees no family or friends,
It has no plan for what it'll do,
It gives you no warning when it's coming,
It sees only you.

It doesn't look through eyes,
It doesn't care about your fears,
It doesn't see what's inside,
It doesn't care for your tears.

It doesn't care what happens afterwards,
It doesn't have a mind to think,
It doesn't know how to make you feel better,
It doesn't know how to make you float or sink.

It doesn't know what it's doing,
It doesn't know the nights you cry,
It doesn't know about you pessimistic thoughts,
Or the ways you want to die.

It doesn't care who it affects,
It doesn't care who it takes,
It's a mindless destruction,
Depression has no face...
