Fury Rises

by PoetPhreak   Oct 12, 2005

His anger is Frightening,
It kills Like Lightening.
He comes home furious.
The expression on his face is like usual... Serious.
His blood starts pumping and voice starts to travel throughout the house,
Her fingers are trembling, she quiet as a mouse .
He releases his anger to her and shows he's had a bad life.
Clenching and handling his sharp thick knife.
She starts to get nervous,
Thought he was worth this.
She cant do anything he is unstoppable.
Dealing with his shit is hardly possible.
Painful mistake dance in her brain and it all rushes fast not slowly.
She realizes what she's done as she turns her shoulder coldly....
Her daughter is watching and has seen this all Before!
Scaring her mind and flashbacks this memory just adds more...

He grumbles quietly and fiercely moves toward the T.v.
Escapes to his heartless land where he thinks he is free.
She wonders if he has any guilt,
but stops and thinks probably not look how their relationship has been built.
He sits there as he Try's to fight all his screaming infidelities... So loud to his thoughts.
But he sees them as knots,
Untying them as if they are nothing to be left in the dark.
his conscience is clear... not even a mark.

She sets the situation down breath's in and moves on from the sequence,
This trip wasn't even filled with the usual suspense.
Until next time the daughter awaits,
To see her mother get treated like a useless piece of bait.
But now that things settle she decides to try to forget it and go to bed,
Until another scarring memory must be put into MY head.
