To Mum and Dad

by ShadowDancer   Oct 12, 2005

Huddled in the corner
My hands over my ears
Trying to block out your fight
Trying to forget my fears

Lying sprawled on my bed
With my music turned up loud
I can't hear you screaming at me
You can't tell me I'm not aloud

Going to a house party
to the music I start to move
Dancing with my boyfriend
I don't care if you don't approve

Sitting in a bus stop
Miles away from home
Stop trying to call me
I just want to be alone

All my life you've tried to shape me
As if I was made of clay
Well I'm sorry Mum and Dad
I don't want to turn out that way

Wow..great job..* I hate when parents try to control you. I really do. We need to make our own decisions every once in a while and they never let us...I am going through this problem at the moment with my mom..Good job hunn* 5/5
