You watch me as I fall,
Before your eyes.
You watch me break down,
Before your eyes.

Am I too lost to save myself,
Meaning that you need to save me
I’m just dying.
Slowly.
Painfully.
And before your eyes.

Your ignorance.
Sheer ignorance.
It just stops you.

I continue to go,
Before your eyes.
The pain, excruciating.
But I show no self- pity, and I will not.

You just stare.
Right into my eyes.
Blankly.
You just watch me drift to the other side.
And your heart dies with mine.
