I could fall asleep in wonder

When untouched
it is pure
an upper hand
over all the rest
a spiteful hand slashes down in spite
of their unfortunately deal-ed hand
unfair to them
unfair to others
decisions they made taunt them
ripping at their own being
causing them to hate others
that aren't looked at the same
depression sets in
rummaging through memories of when they once were whole
hoping to be that way one again
lost hope in a non caring world
where people have dreams to make it big
falling from a 10 story building
crippling more than just pride
reaching out for a second
touching nothing but air
wanting to be held
bleeding in despair
just knowing nobody is there
ripping at your heart till it is no longer there
so cruel
so cold
this world
a pale look to your face
a confused smile
knowing it couldn't get worse
