Trapped in my own chains

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

I am trapped in my own chains
made with my own pain.
Unable to break through, unable to see.
Unable to scream for help, need to be set free.
Trapped in my own chains
I'm afraid to lose you.
Trapped in my own chains
I'm afraid to love you.
My heart stops beating,
but my eyes keep weeping.
How do I break these chains?
How do the heavens stop the rain?
Am I too afraid to fly?
Am I condemned to this life?
Trapped in my own chains
I drown in my tears.
Trapped in my own chains
I am tormented by my fears.
Will you leave me?
Will I leave you?
Must we part at all?
Do you want to see me fall?
Trapped in these chains
I can't fight for us.
Trapped in these chains
I can't breathe at all.
Someone, help me fight!
Break these chains, make it right!
I can't scream anymore,
but I can cry some more.
