Mama

Mama Left Me The Other Day,
And I Don't Know Why,
She Just Left Me,
Just Left Me There To Cry.

She Told Me That She Couldn't Take It,
And Maybe Things Would Get Better,
She Told Me If I Wanted,
I Could Tell Her How I Was In A Letter.

She Said " Don't Call, It Will Upset Him."
" Who Is Him? What Will He Do To My Mama?" I Thought.
Then I Remembered That Mama Used To Tell Her Friends She And "Him" Just Fought.

Mama Wanted To Leave Me,
I Think She Planned It,
She Never Talked In Such Ways,
But The Punishment Was What I Would Get.

I Miss My Mama,
I Wish I Had Her With Me,
I Miss The Way It Used To Be.

Now I'm Here 12 Already,
Alone For 6 Years,
I Will Not Shed Anymore Tears.

It Won't Make My Mama Come Back,
It Wont Make Her Change,
It Won't Do Anything,
But Cause More Pain.

My Mama Put Me Through This,
Never Wanting To Be There,
She Down There With "Him"
But Now, My Life Doesn't Seem Bare.

Mama, I'm No Longer Wishing For You,
You And Your Stupid Ways,
You Are Just Another Thing I Have To Throw Away!

I like this poem, a lot. But heres a hint.....watch the sylabllabes in each line. If the first line has 3 sylablles, dont let lines 2, 3 and 4 have 9 in each of them, ya know? Then it flows a lot better. Watch the rhyme scheme, too. Other than that this is an awesome write. If you need any help, yo uknow where to find me!
