Dreams

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

I sit and wonder,
when will my day come?
This solitude is like a cancer,
that doesn't kill you or make you stronger.

I lay down and pray
to anyone who'll listen
as I wait for the day
you will take me away.

Time seems non-existent
when you're looking at your dreams
and hope comes in an instant
fighting away your fears.

But wait, I fear there's a mistake.
I've been blinded my a cancer,
solitude is fake.
I've failed to ponder
why my dreams stand still.
But alas, success! Now I know,
that sitting here, I'll go ill
and my dreams will vanish,
they'll disappear.

Now I say this,
stop looking at the stars,
become one!
It doesn't matter who you are,
I'm no one!
But I'll work for my dreams,
and become. me.
