Alone

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

Alone in the darkness
I can't see
I can only feel
the emptiness in me.
Fake imitation
of a silent light.
In the darkness there is no company
alone is how you fight.
Alone I am swallowed
by forsaken emotions.
Inside I am hollow
and nobody even notices.
Alone I cry
listening to the whispers of the wind.
In a death bed I lie
no comfort, just the coldness of my sins.
So alone I'll die,
just the way I was born.
