Black Pearl

by Ana   Oct 14, 2005

Feeling the cold glaze my skin.
This is a fight I cannot win.
Looking for someone to keep me warm,
Someone to keep me away from harm.
It is a black pearl that I’m looking for
Love being perhaps a simple folklore
with hope I still search for it.
But in the end deception hits
as I again am alone.
All pearls from my sea are gone.
I alone feel my skin crawl in the cold,
But this broken pain has become old.
I swim in my own tears
tormented by my own fears
hoping that black pearl falls from heaven
and I can choose one from seven.
