Beach

The sand between my toes
I walk along
The edge of the water

My thoughts
Running wild

Thinking of my friends
My family

So peaceful

The sun sets
The sky is aflame of
Pink and orange
Crimson
And the most magnificent blue

Then all of a sudden the sky
Is put out
And a deep midnight blue
Replaces the fire that had just occurred

I once again
Am consumed by my thoughts
