Death Do Us Apart

by Anastasia   Jan 21, 2006

I lay on my bed
My last breaths
I feel like lead

Staring up at your caring face
You say
"You're too young. You'll make it"
You want to believe it
You don't want any empty space
In your heart
You don't want anything to pull us apart

My last breath
upon my lips
I slip through this life
On gilded wings
I rise above

I won't forget you
Don't forget me
I was young,
I know

The wind keeps blowing
The world keeps turning

You and I
Forever

Death do us apart
For a short while
