Abandoned

My stepmom wrote this..Its babes.

There are cobwebs in the corners
And nails across the doors.
The windows are all boarded up,
Noone lives here anymore.

The floorsare old and rotting,
There's no sign of life at all.
There are outlines of the paintings
That used to hang on the walls.

The gardens once grew roses,
But now are overrun.
There is no life there either,
The beauty is all gone.

A sign hangs out front,
In red words it reads "condemned"
Is there really too much damage
For caring hands to mend?

It hurts to see all the neglect
And how it has been torn apart,
This place I once knew so well,
This place I call my heart.
