Only in fairy tales.

by Jacob M Parnell   Oct 17, 2005

Only in fairy tales.
Exist this so called \"Happy Ending\"
Where are the details?
Is there a book pending.
=========================
Disney never said.
That life was going to be like this.
Because kids would dread.
Life in this abyss.
=========================
A million miles from truth.
Until I was ten.
Someone tell the youth.
Before they become women and men.
=========================
That life isnt so great.
There is a thing called being sad.
And im not talking about falling when you skate.
Just wait until you really know your dad.
=========================
Everyone cant be trusted.
Dont bite the red apple.
The world needs to be adjusted.
But forget your future, drink your snapple.
=========================
Because your just a child.
You havent known the truth.
Life is still mild.
Trust me, cherish your youth.

    Omg that snapple thing really got me hooked to your poem!!
    its absolutely beautiful...just a suggestion...maybe you could improve the line "before the y all become women n men"...it sort of breaks the flow
