Home For A Broken Soul

by Ms Joanna Dark   Oct 17, 2005

Hazy vision, teary eyed
Suppressing thoughts of suicide
Bleeding wrists overflow
Getting easy to let go
Hiding thoughts and dreams of death
Waiting for the final breath
To ease the pain locked inside
And dry the tears already cried
Wishing it would all just leave
Too many people have been decieved
Lacking the feeling of happiness
Left with nothing but a bloody mess
The fake smiles leave a stain
Washing it away in the rain
Praying for the courage to go on
But know its been long gone
Lost inside a world of lies
Forced to wear a fake disguise
Tears flowing down the cheeks
Leaving the soul small and weak
Giving up the final fight
No chance to make things right
Tears won't fall down the face
The soul has left for a better place.
