White Love

by ValerieJg   Oct 17, 2005

White sugar as sweet as candy,
sniff my pain through the sourless straw
a sprinkle of dust, the taste of lust
and a handful of rocks in the devils claw.

a false sence of pride,
and a motivational stride,
locking the insecurities inside
as each line draws the next.

Bending the light of lifes perspective
into shades of black and grey.
Darkness has taken my sight away
and left me cold in the demise of my addiction.
