A Dancer's Soul

by Tiffani   Oct 18, 2005

One day a dancer woke up,
and slipped on her dancing shoes...
she takes Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Tap,
every Wednesday, Sunday, and Thursday,
She gets ready for 2 hours of dance,
her teachers great her,
and her peers are happy to see her,
then she dances her heart out,
in such an elegant way...

Jazz, the shoes a are thin and black,
so you can float around the room,
spinning, twirling,
jumping and leaping,
it makes you feel so alive...
Hip-Hop, the shoes are a little thicker,
they keep your feet in place...
so you can do the splits,
cross jumps,
and get down on your hands and knees...
Dancing is such a wonderful thing...

the way it makes you feel,
the attitude,
the energy,
the fun...
Everything a dancer does,
has to be so coordinated,
so full of life...
a dancer has a very special soul,
a story of a dancer is never boring...

a girl who preforms,
a girl that goes to dance classes,
a girl who has a blast at all school dances,
a girl who listens to music in her basement,
a student,
a friend,
a daughter,
A Dancer...
