Insecurities

by fadingxaway   Oct 18, 2005

A mess of insecurities, is all that she is
wondering today if she`ll die of if she`ll live
one day after another, day in and day out
she prays for a better life, but she feels is doubt

the fake smiles and laughs are all she has left
trying to stay strong when the only option is death
and even after all that, the hardest part is
finally realizing that she is falling apart

nobody knew the reason, nobody dared to care
maybe if she had true friends, she might still be here
the secrets she kept, the hate she hid close
each and every day she held out

yet she still sits there smiling
with the dreams that were shattered
and the days that were unbearable

she cant take another moment of anger and despair
she must end it now with out a single care
a solitary slash right at the throat
and she is finally at last filled with hope
