Fear

In the depths of your heart you feel it
the weight of a thousand lies
staring into the darkness you are consumed
by all of which dies

raping your courage we've fallen
not knowing the insanity and demons control
for imaginary creatures evolve
from the fear that makes a person whole

in the spiral of hate we dream
that which every child can hope
never knowing the damage we conceal
so we run back to the coffin to cope

screaming into the wind we're afraid
but don't know that which lurks
the spell of serenity repels us
just as we are used for ones purk

We feel the foul shiver rise
because we protect the evil within
never to know all spells demise
would yet again fear will lead to chaos and sin
