To all you people
who want so bad to let go
just hold on
there's something you should know

I a just like you
this you won't believe
I've been there too
maybe even seen the things you've seen

cutting, depression
living on pills
the truth is
it's yourself that you kill

bleeding, screaming
mind set on death
not believing and hating
do you believe me yet

do you feel like you're stuck
in a world you don't belong
did you give up on help
because too much seemed wrong

do you feel so small
do you feel so weak
do you feel so powerless
is it suicide that you seek

do you want to die
do you want to get away
do you want to sleep
and never wake

no ways we are alike
you are just like me
please hold on
and the truth you will see

please hold on
when you've lost all hope
please hold on
when you think you can't cope

of you're just like me
please hold on
I don't want to be the only one
I don't want to be alone
