Time stopped

by karina   Oct 20, 2005

There I was,
in so many ways.
I stood there.
I never knew what would be,
until I lived each day.
Theres memories I remember
but only one stands out.
I never knew how close I was,
when everything just stopped.
This could be the time to change the past,
because this could change everything.
I was right there,
looking into your blue eyes.
I can see that your mad,
because I have done something wrong.
If I didn't change the past,
I would still know the future.
But if this friendship changed
what would we be?
There to your side,
do you see who that is?
Yeah, that use to be me,
until you went off with her.
I could say the right thing,
“I'm Sorry.”
But would that work?
I know it work for you,
but would it work for me?
I noticed,
you dyed your hair.
Your hair,
your eyes, they stand out.
Time is running out,
this is the chance.
“I'm sorry,”
but it doesn't matter anymore.
Because I know;
that is what I said the last time.
Your friendship,
ending no matter what.
If even I said,
“I'm Sorry,” the first or last time.
