Its now lost

I thought she was my best friend
the best I\'ve ever had
instead i found out the truth
and what i learned was sad

we can still call each other friends
but i feel we are far apart
though we see each other everyday
i have a broken heart

she made lots of new friends
i have made some too
we are talking less than more
i guess our friendship ball just did not score

i would kick the ball everyday
until she would finally see
how much i want out friendship back
and what she means to me
