Chapter One
The Night She Will Never Forget

It was a beautiful December afternoon the bell had just rang at the high school in Colorado Spring High. Lizi walked out ready to start her walk home. But as usual the other kids were making fun of her, they threw her books to the ground. She knew that nothing could make it better and if she told a teacher they would all think that she was a tattle tale. So she just let them do it over and over again. After she gathered up her books she started her walk home. She took out her C.D. player and put her favorite C.D. in and blasted it as loud as she could the whole walk home. When she got home she unlocked the door and went in. She checked the phone for messages and there was one. She pushed play and an unfamiliar voice came on saying "Hello Elizabeth, its your father I just wanted to see if you wanted to have dinner with me sometime. Call me back please I miss seeing you. I love you, please call me". She was shocked to see that her father had called. Her mother wasn't home from work yet. She went to her room and started on her homework. Then she heard a sound in the living room. She went out to see what it was and there was a man at the window looking out. He was in her house. She tried not to make a sound, but she let out a little scream. He turned around to see what it was and he saw her. She ran back to her room and locked the door. She tried to climb out her window but her mom had screwed it shut. She knew she had to get out of there. It was to late, he had broken the door down. She was screaming. He had a knife, he said if she didn't shut up he would slit her throat and kill her. Then he proceeded to rape her. After he had finished his dirty deed he left and said that if she told anyone he had friends that would hunt her down and kill her. She was crying so hard. She felt so disgusting. She went and took a shower and scrubbed her skin until it was red. When she got out of the shower she was still crying. She opened the medicine cabinet and saw a razor blade. On of her friends told her one time how they cut and it made them feel better. She took the razor blade and slid it across her wrist and it stung a little at first, but then watching the blood trickle down her wrist felt so good. She heard her mother come in. She grabbed a towel and wiped the blood away but it wouldn't stop. She walked across the hall way into her room got dressed. She went out and hugged her mom and they talked for a little bit while her mom was making dinner. Her mom saw the cut on her wrist she asked what happened. Lizi looked at her and said i don't know. Her mom just continued making dinner. She ate dinner then went to the bathroom and she grabbed that razor blade again. She took it into her room and she slid it across 3 more times and just watched it bleed. She loved the feeling she got from it. She never thought she would cut herself but it felt so good
