Patiently Waiting

Why is it that when everything goes your way you feel lifted?/
But when the ups become downs and the smiles become frowns,everything in your vision becomes twisted/
I remember having this feeling like.... like...like the past is the best but you never realize it until it's gone/
faded memories often becomes present, you laugh, you cry reminiscing, then someone asks you what's wrong?/
oh nothing, just thinking replied, wiping your face filled with tears of joy/
some sad, some happy but deep down inside you know it's something you can't ignore/
why me? why'd I have to be the one involved in this situation/
I guess everything happens for a reason huh, so for you my love, I'll be patiently waiting/
