Sinful days, Righteous ways

by nbk   Oct 21, 2005

Like the clouds, my life pass on by
Many mistakes made without asking why
Endless sins in the name of fun
But never a good deed ever to be done

Like a criminal with endless crimes
Only an eternity of punishment to serve my time
With arrogance reinforcing all those wrongs
Only a weak soul thinking that he is strong

But circumstances have changed my days
Where tomorrow lies a path of only righteous ways
But, for now I shall walk a slow but steady pace
Bearing all the wrongs that cannot be erased

But can a fool ask the heavens above
To bear the sins from those he love
Now no longer will I hide, nor would I run
If tomorrow shines, let it shine...
From a brand new sun
