Rachele, you write from experience and anyone thats been through the same can understand. For those who haven't it's people like you that help them to understand. Sharing what you went through or are going through is a great way to help yourself and being proud of sharing it is priceless. You're obviously a very special person with undeniable talent. You help others to help you to help others...... if you know what i mean. Nice one!

  • I loved it! it had so much emotion in it, it relates so much to how i feel about my friend! anyway she wont listen! im here if u need someone! luv maddy xxx 5/5! great job!!

Very good poem. It's very well expressed. As for cutting, I've been cutting since age 13 too. I don't cut very deep though, just enough to bleed a little bit, and enough to feel the pressure. Pressure seems to calm me down. Believe me, I know what you're going through. I'm here to listen if you need me. I'm trying to learn to cope with everyday trials, in which is very hard in many ways. I am trying not to cut anymore and find alternative solutions. You may think some of my alternative solutions are a bit weird or odd, but here they are:

rocking, flapping--shaking hands, pacing, hugging a pillow, writing, chatting with friends who understand what I'm going through, crying--if I can cry, being activated--meaning, doing all kinds of things, keeping busy, but of course, I don't forget to talk to someone I trust....

I also wanted to let you know, if I already haven't, that I really enjoyed this poem. I will comment and vote on more poems as well, as soon as I get the chance to... Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the comment on my poem no one ever does
    but that doesn't matter
I'm also a cutter and am learning that there are other ways to cope other then causing physical pain. . .
I throw things that are soft eg pillow
I go for a walk with music to listen to
I punch my pillow to get rid of tension and anger
    And I sit and cry(if i can)
I also hug pillows like Michelle
If you live on a property a really good way of feeling good would be to go in to one of your paddocks and scream stuff like: liar, stop holding me down and watevers on your mind.
But if you dont live on a farm scream in to your pillow with your music on
It helps me I hope it works for you
*hugs* by the way your poem was great
