When the real world starts to crumble
I hide inside this anonymous cave
I talk to my friends,new and old
And they make me brave

I go here when mom and dad are fighting
When everything goes wrong
Here is that wonderful place
So I can go along

Here is the place where I can fall
And someone will definitely catch me
I can even rant to strangers
And they'll answer truthfully

Here is the place where I met
Some of the greatest friends I've ever had
This is where I am happy
And do not at all feel sad

When the real world starts to crumble
I look here to find my place
And here I find that it's normal
And they ask me to stay

I smile and feel accepted
That's all I ever need
Not someone who's going to be rejected
I feel so friendly

In this place I can make friends with strangers
And I do not feel shy
In this place I am fine
And here I do not have to hide

The first time I ever had
A real friend on the internet
I had someone to say hi to
And that's how I and all my good friends met

I feel good here.
I feel safe.
I feel pure.
I feel alive.

Thanks to this other world,
I now can survive.

I do not need to cry when I get here
But yes,I can pour everything out.
And even if it's kinda late,
Sometimes I want to shout

It's still the same.
It's still the same.
On here there are others who are bottled up
And together we can make our hearts and souls feel warm.
Not rough.
