Let me free

by William   Oct 22, 2005

It's been a long night.
A cold, dark, unselfish night.
Washing my face, taking a warm shower.
Sitting down thinking about how im going to tell her.
It seems like destiny is taking back all that it has givin me.
I can't stand strong.
The truth, the facts I thought I held were all wrong.
I open my mouth to speak.
But all my words seem to flow down the creek.
I hear voices talking to me with anger and fear.
Minds clouded in mystery, but my soul is pure and clear.
It was merely a illusion from the start.
I was brought down and I let them control my heart.
People took their chance and took an advantage.
I stand tall, but with no pride or courage.
Screamed until my lungs got sore.
Yelled until my eyes started to pour.
I've learned my lesson so let me free.
Let me live on without pain or doubt and give her back to me.
