The only key

by TaTtErEdXhEaRt   Oct 23, 2005

She holds the knife so tightly
not willing to let go
she holds it like the sacred key
that helps make her blood flow

She knows the cuts can stop it
the pain she feels inside
If only she can bring it out
She'd never have to hide

Her hearts been broken for so long
her arms shed crimson tears
and all she really wants right now
is to cut away her fears

It's almost like shes dying
but not a soul can see
She keeps her pain locked up inside
and the knifes the only key.
