The Night I Lost My Life

by amrit   Oct 23, 2005

He said my heart was wrong,
And that it didn't matter,
What was inside me,
Appearances matter not love,

Slowly I emptied,
Hollow on the inside,
Another brainwashed mind,
Then I realized the lies,

I was torn completely,
Bleeding from within,
I had given up,
My life had no meaning,

Then came another soul,
A beautiful friendship,
He found all my pieces,
And put them back in place,

Our friendship turned to love,
Connected at the heart,
He filled the emptiness,
And closed up the gaps,

Then one meaning night,
He lay alone in the dark,
My finger followed his shape,
Only to find bloody gashes,

My tear-filled eyes looked on,
As he apologized to me,
I felt his hurt and anger,
For the very first time,

I said I am here,
And held him in comfort,
I wanted to help him,
Just as he did me,

His past came pouring out,
He had been just like me,
Betrayed by the one,
The one he had called 'Dear',

As i looked back on my days,
That night stood out bright,
Then the clock struck 12,
And I lost my life.

If you don't get it...
It's about a girl who is mistreated by her so called lover. She finds a man who treats her right but then finds out he was the same as her. And then she dies...
Hope you like.
