Horrors

by FlowerThatDied   Oct 25, 2005

Looking out a window,
As the rain begins to fall,
Hundreds of people,
Crying help they call,
They need a saviour,
A protection,
They're back against the bloody wall.

Darks driving close,
Evil soon to corrupt,
The good, the true,
The unworthy, You,
I see those eyes,
The ones that burn,
But I'm not scared for all I've learnt,
This is not bad, is not cruel,
But will take your souls because you run,
For nothing can hide from the dark,
And this isn't just for fun.

Looking out a window,
Soon to be exposed,
This safe place of serenity,
That is not seen by all of those,
They need a saviour,
A protection,
As the darkness does close.

Bleeding people dying on the road,
Depression taking over,
It's a harsh overload,
Of something unnatural,
I see them cry through the night,
The little ones were still in fright,
For all they saw will haunt their dreams,
But it isn't bad, it isn't cruel,
They must know theres much to know,
For nothing can be won until understood,
Why the darkness has risen from being so low.

Looking out a window,
Mothers and children on the street,
Looking for safety,
But the darkness they meet,
It takes the mothers,
While the children stand in white,
They have protection from the horrors of the night,
Thats taking over.
