He never noticed
The tear stained pillow
From all the nights she cried
He never knew she sank this low
As to abuse her wrists
The way he abused her heart
He never saw her beautiful poems
Or her exquisite works of art

That she did all this because of him
For the way he made her promises
That he broke like fragile limbs
