Your Picture in my hand

by 1angryBrokenHeart   Dec 8, 2003

I have your picture in my hand
Looking at it constantly,
remembering the good times we've had;
all the perfect memories.
The days in the hall when i would see you at school,
I'd wrap you up in my arms and tell you that I loved you.
The dates to the movies which you know we didin't watch.
What can I say,
we loved eachother just that much!
The long talks on the phone and we never wanted them to end.
But we knew we would have to hang up or how would we see eachother again?
Be on the phone or hold you in my arms?
I'd rather have you here with me;
they could never separate us...
or so I thought.

You might have been pregnant at that age of 16,
i knew you were scared,
you worry about everything.
But I told you that everything would be ok,
even though we were young,
I'd do my best to make a way.
If i have to work two jobs and still attend school,
I wouldn't have minded one bit because it would show you have much I love you.

Although I messed up by messing with someone you knew,
we still weren't together,
but you knew that I loved you.
One stupid mistake is all that it cost,
to lose the one i loved the most,
who I cherrished with my heart.

It's funny how you told me that you'd gladly die for me,
but then you easily left me after one minor little thing.
I told you I regret it,
and 'til this day I do.
I only remeber it as the day;
The day that finally lost you.

Just to get back at me you got with the one guy I hated the most.
The one person that you knew I didn't want to see you with ,
But you did it,
I went crazy;
well, pretty close.

A year has past since that last day that you and I were considered as one,
even a whole year of fighting,
crying and arguing is done.
You're with him and I'm with another,
But it's just not the same,
you were my first love,
I do not want another...

I have your picture in my hand
looking at it constantly,
praying one day you will realize that you and me and meant to be.
