Nobody but me

by Holly Nicole Williams   Oct 27, 2005

I want to be me
Because there's noone else that I'd rather be.

I will not be changed into something I'm not
So don't even try
Being somebody else...
That's something that I won't be taught.

Don't try to mold me into something that you want me to be
I don't want to be locked up in chains in a perfect world
I'd rather laugh out loud and run free.

I don't want to be the "Ideal" female
I like how uniqueness feels
Why dye my hair blonde?
My red hair is what makes me real.

There is noone else whom I'd rather be
I won't be like everyone else
I'm just gonna stay the way I am
...me
