Could never be perfect...

How can i hold on anymore,
when there is nothing to hold on to.
You tell me not to give up,
but what else is there to do.

Just to make you happy,
I'll keep on standing tall,
But when your not around,
I'll look away and fall.

Then I'll punch the walls
After I've fallen to the ground
and then scream in my pillow,
and no one will here a sound.

But just to make you happy,
I'll look as if I'm perfect,
but thats exactly what I'm not,
that would be a lie, I'm imperfect.

but who can say they are perfect,
not you or me or anyone,
because what is perfect,
it is a task no one can overcome.

    Great first stanza. Most things i pen about are mostly bout a love gone wrong and an escape is used which is usually cutting. No body understands that side of things, we are alone. So those who do understand, who have experienced it, must stand together and support each other. I am here to support you if needed.
