Nothing but a broken heart
Nothing but a painful past
Nothing but dull gray eyes
Nothing but a life fading fast.

Because of you I can't...

Let myself fall as hard
Let myself trust anyone
Let myself allow someone inside
Let myself realize we are done.

Because of you I have learned...

Never fall in love
Never be the only one to care
Never walk away from something
Never let someone promise to be there.

Because of you I won't...

Believe in love lasting forever
Believe that two people are meant to be
Believe that fate brought us together
Believe that love was what you felt for me.
