The Little Girl

by Never*gonna*make*it   Oct 30, 2005

I sit and watch this little girl as she grows up just a little more. Yesterday I fed her a bottle and rocked her to sleep. She would lay on the floor kicking and cooing and now its hard telling what shes doing. She can walk and talk and tell me exactly what she wants and she's always pulling some kind of funny little stunt. She gets up in the morning and goes about her day. Walking and talking and laughing along the way. In the afternoon, she eats her lunch, takes a nap and then she's ready to play. By sunset, she's wore herself out and she's ready for a bath, a snack, and a story before she lays her head down and goes to sleep. I kiss her goodnight and turn out the light. She's mommy's innocent angel and daddy's little girl. She's one little cutie in which everyone adores. I love this little girl much more than words can say. I wont let anyone ever take her away. As I'm laying in bed watching her sleep in peace, I think to myself, I love her so much because she's my niece.

Dedicated to my 22 month old niece, Brooklyn. I love you Tator!
