What i see when i look at me

When i look at me in the mirror what do i see
i see the real me
the one they cant find
the one behind the smile
the one with the tears
the one with the years left to face

when i look at me in the mirror what do i wish to see
i wish to see the girl you see
the girl you think i am
the one who trys so hard
the one who stays above
the one who is important
the one who it is you love

but i cant see her cuz thats not me

i no thats who you saw and thats who i was, once, but im not her any more!
