As you drift away
From my dreams
I awake in the middle of the night
Wandering what does it mean

As you drift away
From my lonely soul
I become empty inside
For I am no longer whole

As you drift away
From my broken heart
I find it hard to believe
That we are apart

As you drift away
Silently I lay here
And cry myself to sleep
For it is love that I fear

As you drift away
I miss you more and more
But it doesn't even matter
You don't love me no more

As you drift away
I know you won't return
My heart is now shattered
And my soul burns

As you drift away...
