Cry your pretty eyes out
Let my bones soak up your tears
Keep you warm close to my heart
While your words strum my ears

Let all your fears envelop me
So i take your pain off your back
Let me bleed your pouring wounds
And take away your watery black

As long as you want me there
Know this, i'll never let you go
I'll forever hold you dear to my heart
To stop your tears should they flow

    Beautiful dedication to someone you obviously hold very near + dear.

    The source and the base of empathy is one of the single most powerful traits of mankind. Although empathy is a rarity and not congenial to society.

    What an excellent piece. Such a great tribute. I'm happy you posted it - The beauty and affection displayed in it is truly something I wish I had in me.

    I can only invision some poem ... but it would quickly become depressing.
