Forgive him

by Damaged Goods oX   Nov 2, 2005

Forgive him for his smile,
and his happy face.
Forgive him for killing you,
slowly without a trace.

Forgive him for caring,
and then just letting go.
Forgive him for using you,
forgive him, he didn't know.

Forgive him for being,
at that place that night.
Forgive him please,
for turning out your light.

Forgive him for running,
when things got to strong.
Forgive him for putting you,
through that pain for so long.

Forgive him for loving you,
to much he didn't understand.
Forgive him for once filling,
the spaces between your hand.

Forgive him for hurting you,
and leaving you alone.
Forgive him for never,
picking up the phone.

Forgive him not
for forgetting that day,
forgive him now
before he too fades away.
