Forgiving Suicide

by Leo   Nov 3, 2005

The end has come,
But none will cry,
You won't forget,
The last goodbye.
She now lets go
And drifts away,
Whatever you call,
She cannot stay.
You made the cut,
You made her bleed,
It couldn't heal,
So you could feed,
You drained her blood,
You drank her dry,
None even knew,
How much she'd cry.
At last her body,
Lost the fight,
And gave itself into the night.
At last her wings
Could open wide,
And up to heaven
Her soul could glide.
She saw ahead,
The heavenly home,
And sobbing prayed,
To be alone.
She couldn't bear
The tears the hate,
Doomed to one,
Repeating fate.
But then she saw,
The angel there,
His eyes were gold,
Moon streaked his hair.
He took her hand
To hold her near,
And tell her she,
Didn't need to fear.
It's not a crime
To concede defeat
If you've truely tried
To take the heat.
The end has come,
But none should cry,
Sometimes it's right
To let them die.
