Regret

by aaron c s   Nov 3, 2005

I look back at the life I had,
How much I was loved,
And when I had a dad.

I needed to leave!
I just had to!
She was begging me.

Love makes me do weird things.
Makes me leave the home I love.
Sadly....or gladly the love turned to a fling.

I am ashamed to go back home.
What if they don't take me back?
Stationary I was, and now, I roam.

I still don't know if you really feel like this, but please i don't know how much to stress this smile!! You may think i don't know and i am too young to understand, but i have been throgh soo much and i was depressed at one point in my life and recently started looking at the good instead of the bad. I think it makes me a better person, and it might do the same for you!!

Awww...aaron....this poem makes me really sad....and idk why...it has this feeling of just being extremly lost....but look, my family has changed a lot too and not in good ways, change is just, well, unfortunatley an inevitable thing. i know when u go home things will never be the same, but u know what, at least u'll be home. ok, hoping all is well....im serious.
    take care,
    hugs and kisses,

P.S.-A little tidbit of wisdom-Save your regrets not for the things you did, but for those you did not.
In other words, there's no changing the past so fret not, concentrate on the experiences that are still ahead of you and if you live the life you want, perhaps in the end there will be no regrets either way.
