Remember This

by Katie Bennett   Nov 4, 2005

You guys may have read the other poem LIKE this, But I re did using the same concept as the other one that\'s circulating the net. But I wrote this one, so no, it\'s not plagerism.

REMEMBER THIS

I walk the down the stairs
Into my own bloody hell
Quiet as can be
In my silent life I dwell
A deep pain from a broken heart
From a guy I loved in vain
One slash is all that\'s needed
To end this grueling pain
He took my heart
And viciously broke it in two
Never thinking twice
About the pain I\'d go through
I walk into my room
And cry my bloody tears of red
I\'d rather not be here...
I wish I were dead
My dad walked in to my room
And much to his suprise
The sight was gut-wrenching
And it brought tears to his eyes
He saw me hanging from a rope
Blood dripping down my face
I didnt think i\'d be missed
And that i\'d be easily replaced
If I only knew
What would become of my fate
I would\'ve changed it all
But now its just to late
My family finally got the nerve
To get a knife and cut me down
And in my bloody hand
This blood stained note was found-
Dig my grave
And dig it deep
Lay me down
So my soul can weep
Dig the dirt with love and care
So feelings can be felt
That were never there
Dig my grave
So I can sleep
Without pain
That\'s felt so deep
Dig my grave
And look down from above
And remember this......................
I died for love

This is a really sad poem, thanks for your comment on my poem ' My Body', but it was a assignment for school and it wasn;t supposed to be a rhyme. (I also prefere rhyme poems).
